Birsa Agricultural University, Kanke (Ranchi) is inviting applications from competent candidates for various posts on temporary basis, for recruitment 2011. Recruitment is to be done for the following posts:
- SRF
- Research Associate
- Computer Operator
- Project Assistant
- Computer Assistant
- Technician
Eligibility:
SRF:-
FASAL:
- MSc in relevant field
MSP in Pig:
- MVSc in relevant field along with relevant experience in the relevant field
Scaling of water Productivity in Agriculture:
- MSc in relevant field
Dry land agriculture, ZRS Chainki:
- MSc in relevant field
NOVOD – Jatorapha (agro forest):
- MSc in relevant field
Research Associate:-
Mega sheep seed project:
- MVSc in relevant field with at least two years of experience in relevant field
NAIP- RKMP Project:
- Ph.D in relevant field or
- MSc in relevant fieldwith at least two years of experience in relevant field
Computer Operator:-
- Graduate along with six-month computer certificate course
Project Assistant:-
- Applicant must have passed Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.
- Applicant must also possess a valid Motorcycle driving license.
Computer Assistant:-
- BCA / MCA / MSc (IT) along with two-years of relevant experience
Technician:
- M.Tech in Agricultural engineering
- Applicants with the background of Farm Machinery / Power in their M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering will be given preference.

Maximum Age Limit:
SRF: 35 years for men and 40 years for women (their will be three-year relaxation for OBC and five–years for SC/ST)
Research Associate: 35 years for men and 40 years for women women (their will be three-year relaxation for OBC and five–years for SC/ST)
