Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Mumbai, has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens for Common Written Examination (CWE), for recruitment 2011, for the post of Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee. Candidates can register online by visiting the official website of IBPS: http://www.ibps.in/. The online registration began from July 9, 2011 and will be closed on August 1, 2011.
IBPS, on behalf of 19 public sector banks, is organizing Common Written Examination (CWE) for the combined recruitment, for the posts of Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee. The public sector banks participating in the CWE Exam are Allahabad Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Andhra Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank, Bank of India, Punjab & Sind Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Syndicate Bank, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, Central Bank of India, United Bank of India, Corporation Bank, UCO Bank, Dena Bank, Vijaya Bank, Indian Bank.
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of a Written Test followed by Personal Interview (PI). The Written Test will be held on September 18, 2011. The written test will be schedule at Guntur, Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Rajahmundry, Tirupati, Vijaywada, Vishakhapatnam, Port Blair, Itanagar, Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar, Chandigarh, Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Raipur, Bulsar, Jamnagar, Panaji, Ahmedabad, Bhavnagar, Bulsar, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara, Hissar, Karnal, Panchkula, Rohtak, Dharamsala, Mandi, Shimla, Jammu, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur and Ranchi. Examination centre and address will be mentioned in the candidates’ call letter.

Desired candidate must apply within this time period mentioned above. Applicants are requested to follow all the terms and conditions mentioned in the official website. Candidates who do not fill their application form as per the prescribed format, and are found ineligible, will be disqualified.
Eligibility:Eligible Indian candidates, who are between the age of 20 - 30 years and have a successfully completed degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government, are eligible for the posts.
Application Fee: Rs 450 (General / Others) & Rs 50 (SC / ST / PWD)
How To Apply:
Candidates, willing to apply for the CWE, must have valid Email ID for applying online. Before applying online for the aforementioned examination, candidates are required to scan their photograph and signature for filling the online application form. Candidates’ signature and photograph must be clear else their form will be rejected.
Candidates can make payment of the application both online & offline mode. For the online mode of fee payment, candidates are required to have the Master / Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking. The online application form is integrated with the payment gateway. While making the online fee payment, candidates need to fill the details of Master/ Visa Debit or Credit cards or Internet Banking. After successful completion of the transaction, the system will generate an e-receipt, which candidates are required to take a print of it. This receipt will be submitted along with the call letter at the time of written examination.
For offline mode of fee payment, candidates can download the cash voucher from the official link of IBPS: http://www.ibps.in/html/common.htm. Candidates can make payment in any of the 19 Banks branch. Candidates should fill all the necessary details required in the NEFT voucher. Details like Name of the Account: IBPS CWE- Officers’ Cadre- 2011, Account Number: 005120110000667, Payee Bank: Bank of India, IFSC Code: BKID0000051, should filled correctly in the form. After making NEFT payment, candidates should the collect the candidates’ copy of fee payment cash voucher receipt from the Bank. Candidates should check that the receipt is properly signed and the details of NEFT, UTR NO., IFSC code of the sending Bank branch, Name of the sending Bank, City name, Deposit date, Amount etc. are clearly mentioned on the cash voucher.
Candidates should keep the candidate copy with them as future reference for the written examination day. The online application form should be filled in the prescribed format and completely, or else it will be not acceptable and the candidate will be assumed as disqualified.
