Informatics Assistant Recruitment in DoIT & C Govt of Rajasthan

The Department of Information Technology & Communication (DoIT & C), Government of Rajasthan, invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Informatics Assistant, for recruitment 2011. Reservation of seats for SC/ST and OBC candidates will be done on the basis of the norms laid down by the Govt. of Rajasthan. A competitive entrance exam will be conducted to recruit candidates for the aforementioned post. The entrance exam will be divided into two parts:
Part – 1: Written Exam (100 marks, 3 hours duration)
Part – 2: Practical Exam on Computer (120 marks, 30 minutes duration)

Timings: 10am to 1pm


Candidates who have successfully completed Graduation in Computer Science / Computer Applications or Electronics, from a recognized University established by law in India.
Candidates should have done Post Polytechnic Diploma in Computer Application or 3 years of Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, from a Polytechnic institution recognized by the government.
The candidate should be a Graduate of a University established by law in India with Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Applications of a University established by law in India or of an institution recognized by the Government.
The candidate should be a graduate of a University established by law in India with "O" or Higher Level Certificate Course conducted by DOEACC under the control of Department of Electronics, Govt. of India.
The candidate should be graduate of a university established by law in India with Computer Operator & Programming Assistant (COPA) / Data preparation and Computer Software (DPCS) Certificate Organized under National/State Council of Vocational Training Scheme.
The candidate should have speed of 8000 key depression per Hour on Computer in Hindi & English.

Candidates can apply online, by clicking on the “apply online: link, given in the official website: A unique user-ID and password will be generated for the candidate, which should be remembered for future use – the user ID and password will be required when the candidate would take the print out of permission letter and to know the application status. Thereafter, the candidate should log in to the aforementioned website and fill the online application form. After filling the details in the application form, the candidate should scan and upload undersigned and latest passport size photograph, in the JPG format. The candidate should take a print out of the duly filled application form, in an A4 size sheet.
The candidate should draw a DD for the application fee (as applicable), from a nationalized bank, in favor of “Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited” or RKCL, payable at Jaipur, Rajasthan. The candidate should clearly write his/her name, application number, post applied for, mobile number and telephone number at the back of the Demand Draft. The candidate should make an affidavit on a non-judicial stamp paper worth Rs 10 and get it attested by a Notary, failing to which the application form will be rejected. The candidate should enclose the application form in an A4 size envelope. The candidate should affix appropriate postage stamp on the envelope. The envelope should be sent via ordinary post or speed post, to ‘Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited’ (RKCL), ‘Head Office: 7-A, Jhalana Institutional Area, Jaipur - 302004, Rajasthan (India). The applicant can check his/her application status by logging in to the aforementioned official website, using his userID and password and download the admit card.
