The Industrial Research & Consultancy Centre (IRCC) of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has invited applications from eligible candidates, for different research positions on temporary basis, for recruitment 2011. Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination and work experience. The short-listed candidates will be called up for interview, for final selection. Recruitment will be done for the following posts:
Junior Research Fellow on Development of Dimeric Fischer Carbene Complexes: (1 post)
Sr. Project Engineer on Seismic Vulnerability Assessment of Building Types in India: (2 Posts)
Research Assistant (RA1) on Controller Design for ISRO Reusable Launch Vehicle: (1 Post)
Junior Research Fellow on Exploratory Studies on Magnetic Pulse Welding of Tubes: (1 Post)

Eligibility:

Junior Research Fellow on Development of Dimeric Fischer Carbene Complexes:
The minimum eligibility criteria are M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry with minimum one year of experience. Candidates qualified in NET/GATE will be preferred.

Sr. Project Engineer on Seismic Vulnerability Assessment of Building Types in India:
Candidate must be a qualified M.Tech in Structural Engineering with the experience in advanced seismic risk assessment techniques. Expertise in handling GIS tools is also essential to be eligible.

Research Assistant (RA1) on Controller Design for ISRO Reusable Launch Vehicle:
Candidates should be B.E / B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering with CPI above 8 is required. Apart from the above qualification candidates should be well familiar with MATLAB, SIMULINK, d-SPACE and C/C++ programming languages.

Junior Research Fellow on Exploratory Studies on Magnetic Pulse Welding of Tubes:
Candidate must have scored at least 60% in Undergraduate as well as Master degree in Electrical Engg/Mechanical Engineering with demonstrable skills / experience in either of the following
1. Multiphysics simulations using softwarefs like COMSOL
2. Design and use of high voltage equipment to be eligible.
