Industrial Research & Consultancy Centre (IRCC) of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay invites applications from eligible candidates, for various research positions on temporary basis, for recruitment 2011. Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their merit in the qualifying examination and work experience. The short-listed candidates will be called up for interview, for final selection. Recruitment will be done for the Bridge Funding for the Operation of NCAIR Project. Industrial Research & Consultancy Centre (IRCC) provides sponsored research and industrial consultancy projects at IIT Bombay.
Recruitment is done for the following posts, in the following project:
Bridge Funding for the Operation of NCAIR project
- CEO (1 Post)
- PM/JPM (1 Post)
- SUPPORTSTF (1 Post)
Eligibility:Bridge Funding for the Operation of NCAIR project:
Applicant should be either, a doctorate or a first class Masterfs degree holder in Mechanical / Aerospace / Metallurgy and Materials Science / Industrial/ Production Engineering.
Applicants, with first class Masterfs degree in business management, from a recognized University, are eligible to apply for the post. Those who have successfully completed graduation in any of the disciplines mentioned above are also eligible to apply for the post.
Government employees working with aerospace manufacturing domains, if fulfilled any of the above mentioned qualification, are eligible to apply for the job, on the basis of 3-year deputation from their parent organization.
Note: Preference would be given to those candidates with specialization in Manufacturing Engineering, exposure to aerospace manufacturing domain.
Specific Requirement: Applicants must submit an essay along with the application form written on any one of the topics given below with not less than 500 words.
a) One incidence where your leadership skills have benefited your organization
b) Innovative product / process or system design that has made substantial difference to your organization.
Experience: PhD holder applicants should have minimum 1-2 years of work experience.
Applicants with Masterfs degree must possess at-least 5 to 6 years of work experience.
PM/JPM (1 Post):
Applicant must have secured at least first class in M.Tech or B.Tech / B.E. degree in Mechanical / Aerospace / Metallurgy and Materials Science /Industrial / Production Engineering.
Note: Preference would be given to those candidates with specialization in manufacturing engineering and those who have got exposure to aerospace manufacturing domain.
Experience: The Masterfs degree holder should have minimum experience of 1 year.
Applicants with Bachelorfs degree must possess at least 2 to 3 years of work experience in the relevant field.
SUPPORTSTF (1 Post):
Applicant must be a qualified Bachelorfs degree holder in arts / commerce /science from a recognized University, with good verbal communication skills. Candidate should also have1-2 years of experience in handling MS office and communication.
