National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD), New Delhi has invited applications from qualified aspirants for recruitment 2011, for various posts. The recruitment is to be done for the following posts:
  • Joint Director (Programme Division) / Regional Director
  • Deputy Director (Programme Division)
  • Assistant Director
  • Research Assistant
  • Associate Librarian
  • Junior Hindi Translator
  • Assistant Librarian
  • LDC / Typist

Eligibility:

Joint Director (Programme Division) / Regional Director
  • Masters Degree in Home Science / Human Resource Development / Psychology / Education / Sociology / Social Work / Women’s Studies / Child Development / Anthropology / Operational Research (including statistics) / Preventive & Social Medicine from a recognized University / Institute
  • Doctoral degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University / Institute
  • Minimum 15 years working experience in Training / Teaching / Research / Advocacy, out of which 5 years should be at a senior supervisory level
  • Candidates should be below the age of 50 years
Deputy Director (Programme Division)
  • Master’s degree in Home Science with specialization in Community Resource Management / Foods & Nutrition / Child Development / Psychology / Education / Social Work / Sociology / Anthropology / Management / Public Administration / Statistics from a recognized University / Institute
  • MBBS degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized University / Institute
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Teaching / Research / Project formulation / Monitoring and Supervision in the fields of Child Development / Mother Care / Social Welfare / Maternal and Child Health / Designing and Production of Audio-Visual Material for teaching and extension
  • Candidates should be below the age of 45 years
Assistant Director
  • Master’s degree in Home Science / Child Development / Psychology / Education / Social Work / Sociology / Social Anthropology / Management / Public Administration / Statistics with 2nd class division from a recognized University / Institute
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Teaching / Research / Project formulation / Monitoring and Supervision in the fields of Child Development / Mother Care / Social Development / Social Welfare from a recognized University / Institute
  • Candidates should be below the age of 35 years
Research Assistant
  • Master’s degree in Home Science, Education and Social Science from a recognized University / Institute
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Investigation / Tabulation / Analysis of Data etc.
  • Candidates should be below the age of 30 years
Associate Librarian
  • Master’s degree in any of the Social Sciences from a recognized University / Institute
  • Degree in Library Science from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 3 years experience in Library / Documentation work in Government / Organization Or Diploma in Library Science from a recognized University / Institute with minimum 5 years  experience in Library / Documentation work in the PB-2 Rs 9300-34800 + GP Rs 4200
  • Candidates should be below the age of 35 years
Junior Hindi Translator
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Hindi and English as main subjects from a recognized University / Institute
  • Diploma / Certificate in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa from a recognized University / Institution
  • Should have a minimum speed of 25 WPM in Hindi Typewriting
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and similar Computer Application
  • Candidates should be below the age of 28 years
Assistant Librarian
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute
  • Degree / Diploma in Library Science from a recognized University / Institute
  • Minimum 3 years and 5 years working experience for Degree holders and Diploma holders respectively, in an Educational Institution / Government department / autonomous body
  • Candidates should be below the age of 30 years
LDC / Typist
  • Should have passed 12th class or its equivalent qualification from a recognized Board / University
  • Should have minimum Typing speed of 30 WPM in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on Typewriter Or minimum Typing speed of 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi on Computer
  • Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 27 years

  • For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain the DD for Rs 100, drawn in favor of National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, payable at New Delhi.
  • Application form duly complete in all respect, along with a passport-size photograph, DD and self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates, should be submitted to the Assistant Administrative Officer (Pers.), National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development, 5, Siri Institutional Area, Opposite Hauz Khas Police Station, Hauz Khas, New Delhi - 110016, within 30 days from the date publishing the advertisement in the Employment News.
  • Candidates should mention “Name of the Post____________” on the envelope, in which the form would be sent.
