Power Grid Recruitment 2013 For Asst Rajbhasha Officer & Asst Translator-cum-Officer (Rajbhasha)

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, New Delhi, has invited applications from eligible, talented and skillful candidates for recruitment 2013, for various posts. The recruitment is to be done for the following positions:
  • Assistant Rajbhasha Officer / E1 (Post ID 97)
  • Assistant Translator–cum-Officer (Rajbhasha) / E1 (Post ID 98)
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Written Test and Interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the written test. The test schedule and centre address will be intimated to all short-listed candidates through admit card, by the screening committee.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:
Assistant Rajbhasha Officer / E1
  • Post Graduate / Master’s Degree in Hindi (full time) with English as asubject in the Graduate Degree examination, with 1st class division from a recognized University,Or
  • Post Graduate / Master’s Degree in English (full time) with Hindi as asubject in the Graduate Degree examination with 1st class division from a recognized University
  • Minimum one year of post qualification experience in executive / officer cadre at least in the pay scale or equivalent level of IDA Rs 6550-11350 (pre-revised) / Rs 12600-32500 (Revised), or CDA Rs 6500-10500 (pre revised) / Rs 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs 4200) (Revised)
  • Should have post qualification work experience in implementing the Governments policy regarding the use of Hindi for Official work in all respects, including translation and other related work
  • Should be well conversant with official Hindi terminology, process, procedure and system for implementation of Rajbhasha rules, regulation, and directives of the Government and PSUs
  • Candidates, who have experience in PSU / Listed Company particularly in Power Sector, will be preferred.
Assistant Translator–cum-Officer (Rajbhasha) / E1
  • Post Graduate / Master’s Degree in Hindi (full time) with English as a subject in the Graduate Degree examination from a recognized University, Or
  • Post Graduate / Master’s Degree in English (full time) with Hindi as a subject in the Graduate Degree examination from recognized University
  • Diploma / Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa from a reputed Institute
  • Minimum one year of post qualification experience in executive / officer cadre at least in the pay scale or equivalent level of IDA Rs 6550-11350 (pre-revised) / Rs 12600-32500 (Revised), or CDA Rs 6500-10500 (pre-revised) / Rs 9300-34800 (Grade Pay Rs 4200) (Revised)
  • Should have post qualification experience in Translation works from Hindi to English and vice-versa
  • Experience in Scientific / Technical / Legal Translation will be considered as an added advantage.
  • Should be well conversant with official Hindi terminology
  • Should have experience in implementing the Government’s policy on use of Hindi for Official work, and Rajbhasha rules & regulation.
  • Candidates, who have experience in PSU / Listed Company particularly in Power Sector, will be preferred.
Age Limit:
  • Candidates should be below the age of 30 years.
  • Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates provided as per organization norms

  • Online registration began from March 11, 2013 and will close on April 15, 2013.
  • For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs 400, drawn from State Bank of India, in favor of Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd., payable at New Delhi.
  • Candidates should mention their name, registration no., and name of the post applied for on the reverse side of the DD.
  • After successful submission of the online application form, the system will generate a Resume with unique Registration No., which candidates should print out and use it for the further process.
  • Printed Resume, along with recent passport size photograph, DD, and attested copies of all required certificates, should be submitted to The Advertiser (PG), Post Box No. 9248, Krishna Nagar Head Post Office, Delhi - 110051, by ordinary post on or before April 30, 2013.
  • Candidates should mention “Application for the Post of _______, Post Code _____” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
