Spices Board India, Kochi, Kerala, has invited applications from young, talented and capable candidates for recruitment 2012, for the posts of Trainees. The recruitment is to be done for the following positions:
  • Trainee - Engineering
  • Trainee - Market Research
  • Trainee - Plant Pathology
  • Trainee - Entomology

Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of Walk-in Interview. The interview is scheduled to be held as follows:

  • Trainee (Plant Pathology / Entomology / Transfer Technology): January 8, 2013 at Indian Cardamom Research Institute, Myladumpara, Kailasanadu PO, Idukki - 685553
  • Trainee (Spice Sample Analysis): January 9, 2013 at Spices Board, Sugandha Bhavan, NH By Pass, Palarivattom PO, Kochi - 682025 (For Quality Evaluation Lab), and at Indian Cardamom Research Institute, Myladumpara, Kailasanadu PO, Idukki - 685553 (For Sample Receipt Desk)

Eligibility:

Trainee - Engineering
  • BE / B Tech Degree in Civil Engineering with 1st class division or 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering with 1st class division or 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
Trainee - Market Research
  • MBA Degree in International Business / Agri. Business with 1st class division or 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
Trainee - Plant Pathology
  • B Sc Degree in Botany / Microbiology with 1st class division or 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
Trainee - Entomology
  • B Sc Degree in Zoology / Botany with 1st class division or 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
Trainee - Transfer Technology
  • Passed 10+2 Class with Science stream from a reputed Board / University
  • Good knowledge in Plant Propagation Technique
  • Should have sound knowledge of Computer Applications
  • Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized University / Institute is desirable.
Trainee - Spice Sample Analysis
  • B Sc Degree in Chemistry / Food Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry with 1st class division or 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institute
