State Health Society Bihar, Patna, has invited applications from well-educated and skillful candidates for recruitment 2012, for Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP). The appointment is to be done for the following positions:

Microbiologist (IRL)
DOTS plus Site Senior Medical Officer

Recruitment of the candidates is to be done on contractual basis for a period of one year, which can be extended as per candidate performance. Selection of the candidates is to be done on the basis of test / personal interview.

Candidates short-listed on the basis of academic qualification will be called for the test / personal interview. The test / interview schedule will be intimated to all short-listed candidates by the selection committee. Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:

Microbiologist (IRL)

MBBS Degree with MD Degree in Microbiology from a recognized Institute / University Or
M Sc Degree in Medical Microbiology / Applied Microbiology with M Phil / PhD Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute / University Or
M Sc Degree in Medical Microbiology / Applied Microbiology from a recognized Institute / University

DOTS plus Site Senior Medical Officer

MBBS Degree or its equivalent qualification froma MCI recognized Institute
Must have completed Compulsory Rotator Internship

Age Limit:

Candidates should be below the age of 62 years.
Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC candidates provided as per organization norms

For paying the application fees, candidates should obtain a DD for Rs 500 / Rs 200 / Rs 200 drawn from any nationalized bank, in favor of State Health Society, Bihar, payable at Patna.
Application Form, duly complete in all respect, along with affixed passport-size photograph, DD and self-attested photocopies of all certificates and testimonials, should be submitted to The Executive Director, State Health Society, Bihar, Pariwar Kalyan Bhawan, Sheikhpura, Patna - 800014, by speed / registered post on or before September 17, 2012 till 05.00 pm.
Candidates should mention “Application for the Post of __________” on the envelope in which the form would be sent.
