Andhra Bank, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible, talented and skillful candidates for recruitment 2012, for the posts of Probationary Officers and Specialist Officers. The recruitment is to be done for the following positions:
  • Probationary Officers (JMGS I)
  • IT Officers (JMGS I)
  • Rajbhasha Officers (JMGS I)
  • HR Officers (JMGS I)
  • Law Officers (MMGS II)
Candidates’ selection will be made on the basis of their performance in the IBPS Total Weighted Standard Score (TWS) of CWE PO September 2011 / Specialist Officers March 2012, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates short-listed in the initial screening will be called for the group discussion and personal interview. The group discussion & interview schedule and centre address will be mentioned in the candidates’ call letter.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification:
Probationary Officers
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a UGC recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India
  • Candidates should have valid score of IBPS CWE PO September 2011, Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) Cut off minimum 151 (General / OBC) and minimum 141 (SC / ST / PWD).
  • Should have studied Computer Science as one of the subjects in school level or have possessed a Certificate in MS Word / MS Office from a recognized Institute
IT Officers
  • Bachelor’s Degree / Master’s Degree in CS / CA / IT / EC / Instrumentation from a recognized University Or
  • Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline with Certificate of DOEACC ‘B’ level from a recognized Institute / University
  • Candidates should have a valid score of IBPS CWE Specialist Officers March 2012, Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) Cut off minimum 128 (General / OBC) and minimum 120 (SC / ST / PWD).
  • Should have studied Computer Science as one of the subjects in school level or have possessed a Certificate in MS Word / MS Office from a recognized Institute
Rajbhasha Officers
  • Master’s Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at degree level from a recognized Institute / University Or
  • Master’s Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at Degree level from a recognized Institute / University
  • Candidates should have a valid score of IBPS CWE Specialist Officers March 2012, Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) Cut off minimum 96 (General / OBC) and minimum 90 (SC / ST / PWD).
  • Should have studied Computer Science as one of the subjects in school level or have possessed a Certificate in MS Word / MS Office from a recognized Institute
HR Officers
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Postgraduate Degree / Diploma in Personnel Management / IR / HRD / Social Work / Labour Law from a recognized Institute / University Or
  • Degree / Diploma in Business Administration / Management with specialization in HRD from a recognized Institute / University
  • Candidates should have a valid score of IBPS CWE Specialist Officers March 2012, Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) Cut off minimum 124 (General / OBC) and minimum 114 (SC / ST / PWD).
  • Should have studied Computer Science as one of the subjects in school level or have possessed a Certificate in MS Word / MS Office from a recognized Institute
Law Officers
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized Institute / University
  • Minimum 3 years of practice at Bar / Judicial Service or have work experience as Law Officer in Legal Department of a reputed Bank or Central / State Govt./ PSUs
  • Candidates should have a valid score of IBPS CWE Specialist Officers March 2012, Total Weighted Standard Score (TWSS) Cut off minimum 121 (General / OBC) and minimum 113 (SC / ST / PWD).
  • Should have studied Computer Science as one of the subjects in school level or have possessed a Certificate in MS Word / MS Office from a recognized Institute
Age Limit:
  • 20-30 years: Probationary Officers
  • 20-35 years: IT Officers / Rajbhasha Officers / HR Officers
  • 21-40 years: Law Officers
  • Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / EXS / PH candidates provided as per government norms

  • Before filling the application form, candidates are required to pay-in the application fee of Rs 100 / Rs 20 through Challan / NEFT, in any branch of Andhra Bank, in the CBS Account No.: 117911100000991 with Pattabhi Bhavan Branch, in the Account Name & Style of “A B RECRUITMENT PROJECT PO’S & SPECIALIST OFFICERS 2012-13”.
  • Candidates can pay the fees amount from September 1, 2012 till September 15, 2012.
  • After paying the application fee through Challan / NEFT, the bank will generate a
  • Branch Name & BIC No, Transaction ID / NEFT UTR No, and Date of Deposit & Amount, which the candidates are required to fill in the online application form for completing their form.
  • Candidates should keep the CBS Challan / NEFT Receipt with them as proof, as it will have to be submitted at the time of interview, along with the call letter.
  • After successful submission of the application form, the system will generate a complete application form, which the candidates are required to print out, as it will have to be submitted at the time of Interview, along with attested Xeroxed copies of all required certificates and Challan copy / NEFT Receipt.
