Indian Institute of Management (IIM), also known as Rajiv Gandhi Indian Institute of Management, Shillong, Meghalaya, has invited applications from well-qualified and proficient candidates for recruitment 2012, for various faculty posts. The recruitment is to be done for the following positions:
- Professor
- Associate Professor
- Assistant Professor
Appointment of the candidates is to be done for the following functional areas:
- Finance
- Marketing
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in academics, work experience and personal interview. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the interview. The interview schedule will be intimated to all short-listed candidates through Call Letter.

Eligibility:
Professor
- PhD Degree in the relevant discipline with 1st Class division or its equivalent grade, with consistent good academic record from a recognized University / Institute
- Minimum 10 years of teaching / research / industrial experience, out of which minimum 4 years of work experience should be on the position of Associate Professor in IIM, IIT, NITIE, IISc Bangalore, NITIE Mumbai, & IISER or its equivalent Institute
Associate Professor
- PhD Degree in the relevant discipline with 1st Class division or its equivalent grade, with consistent good academic record from a recognized University / Institute
- Minimum 6 years of teaching / research / industrial experience, out of which minimum 3 years of experience should be on the position of Assistant Professor or its equivalent
Assistant Professor
- PhD Degree in the relevant discipline with 1st Class division or its equivalent grade, with consistent good academic record from a recognized University / Institute
- Minimum 3 years of teaching / research / industrial experience in the relevant field
