Panjab University, Chandigarh, has invited applications from eligible citizens of India, for recruitment 2011, for various posts. The recruitment is to be done for the following positions:
  • Station Manager
  • Technician (Full Time)
  • Technician (Part Time)

Educational Qualification:
Station Manager
  • Postgraduate degree of Mass Communication with minimum 55% marks, from a recognized University / Institute.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a Radio Station as Programming Head / Producer
  • Complete knowledge of scheduling software, programme production, planning and marketing
  • Good command over ON-AIR software (RCS / NEXGEN / Power Gold / Editing software etc)
Technician (Full Time / Part Time)
  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 class with Science or its equivalent qualification
  • Diploma in Radio / Telecommunication / Electrical / Electronics Information Technology / Electrical Communication Engineering / Sound Recording and Sound Engineering, from a recognized University / Institute
Age Limit:
  • Candidates should be above the age of 18 years and below the age of 35 years

  • The interview is scheduled to be held on August 19, 2011, from 03.00 PM, at the Vice-Chancellor’s Committee Room, Panjab University, Chandigarh
  • Candidates appearing for the interview, should bring the 7 copies of complete Bio-Data, DD and all the relevant original documents, along with them, as it is mandatory.
